5.0 out of 5 stars How could you dislike the roots?
If you want fun, you don't have to spend a lot of money on XBOX. This game is tons of fun. NES games were simple, but they weren't about the flashy graphics.....they were about having fun. the surfing in this game was genius and the skating is really fun. A great game for only having two buttons to work with.

2.0 out of 5 stars I used to love this game as a kid.
When I was a kid I loved this game but now I have no idea why. The perspective is horrible and the water rage part makes no sense. I am not sure what the point is of this game, and why we are looking past the game from the sidelines. It is hard to tell where things are spacially. If you figure out how to play the water rage part please let me know!

This game is one of the fore founders for sports games. Skateboarding and Surfing, in the 80's? no one would believe that a genre such as this could be good. If your a fan of the tony halk seires and you want to know how skating started in video games then this is your game.
Go on with your bad self TiKKi Guy.

Great game! It's taking me a while to get used to it again but it's just as fun as it was when I was kid. Good times!

This game is a oldie but definite goodie. It certainly isn't the greatest game ever, but back then, it was a solid title. it's fun in its simplicity, though I enjoyed the skateboarding levels more than the surf. I spent most of the time I played this game on the skateboarding part, and it's fun. There's cool tricks you can do to rack up the points, and all in all, this ain't a bad NES title at all. Forget XBox and all that fancy schmancy junk, sometimes you just can't beat the old school.

I just love playing this game yes it's simple, but that it's charm and funness of it going from skating to surf it's quite addicting and fun way to burn some time up.T & C Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage is excellent title in it's day this was quite popular title sold of the old nes games including mario brothers trilogy of games and donkey kong and few others.

Highly Recommended Title For Fun Play.

P.S. I Miss The T&C T-shirts too they were fun to wear.

1.0 out of 5 stars inferior to skate or die, January 6, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: T & C Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage (Video Game)
This game came out roughly the same time as Skate or Die, which is a far superior and more fun game. T & C offers "surfing" but, i mean, all it consists of is moving the d-pad back and forth. For those complaining about the realism of the game, did you not see the Gorilla surfing? I mean, i'll give it realism points for staying true to reality there, that's about the only thing it's got going for it. snooze fest.

1.0 out of 5 stars T&C Surf Design Video Game, February 26, 2002

This review is from: T & C Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage (Video Game)
This game is very unrealistic. The surfers are made up and the waves look like carpet folding up. If you want a fun surfing game, then buy Transworld Surf for XBOX! Xbox is the best video game system ever made, so if you want fun, get XBOX!!
