It's about time! What took them so long to get this album back into circulation? Easily one of the best early thrash outfits in the late 80's, "Ignorance" stands tall as a quality offering, toe-to-toe with classics from their contemporaries. Easily as good as Exodus and Death Angel, Sacred Reich made a nice dent in the scene with skillfully executed, catchy rythyms that drive hard and sound really good loud. I've searched long and hard to find this album on CD at a decent price. Thanks to Metal Blade, now I've got "Ignorance," "Surf Nicaragua," and some cool video, to boot! Not bad. Thanks fellas. For anyone who enjoys the thrash metal genre on any level, buy this album!

I love this double album,they are two of Sacred Riech's best albums. they are hard and heavy, just the way I like it.
Amazon always has the old stuff you can't find in stores. Great job.

surf ignorance cds are cool, i first heard them back in 87 when they just had come out with ignorance, when i first heard them i thought there songs were fast and thrashing, brutal stuff, could break your neck headbanging. but the only reason i'm writing this review is not that i like writing reviews, in fact i never do,oviously, but i feel i have to warn people that the 2cd with the dvd, the dvd i got was pal format , i live in the usa,so the pal for me is useless. why they didn't say it was an import and the dvd is pal format in the product desription,i don't know. well anyways i called amazon and alerted them to the problem, in the end though i just let it go, i was only wanting the cds anyways, the dvd dosen't matter to me as much as the two cds. but beware, if your wanting the dvd as well, e-mail amazon and find out first which format the dvd is, i also think the price is a little to high, cds shouldn't cost as much as they do, i mean come on, whats the deal with these companys selling cds at this high of a price, total rip-off, but i guess in this day and age we just dowmlowd stuff, but if you collect cds like i do, it be cool just to buy these kindve cds at least a respectable price. oh well at least this time i made an exception, sacred reich is badass, so in a way for me its worth it, now i have all there cds in my collection. but like i mentioned about the dvd, it might be pal format, if you live in the usa it's worthless on a usa dvd player, unless you have a converter or something or .maybe a computer,i dont know, but find out first if this is an import and the format, i just wish i didn't pay such a high price, especially since i kindve got burned on the dvd, lower the price man, lower the price. word.
