I bought this product only to find that the rather large box contained nothing but an installation CD. No release notes, no instructions, nothing. When I tried to load the software it asked for the user name and password that it said "came with your order". Nothing came with the order except the oversized box and the CD. I sent three letters to the email address on the box asking for a user name and password and got no response. I had to return it before the Amazon return date and never did hear from SurfSecret. What a disappointment. I will be reporting this to the software fraud sites.

If you are looking for an encryption program like SurfSecret Privacy Vault, I would suggest that you google Truecrypt. Better yet, Ill just post a link here:

Truecrypt is completely free, and lets you hide and encrypt your files within a single large encrypted file which is password protected (with the encryption type you want that it supports, which includes alot) and supports encrypting your system drive as well.

Save yourself the hassle and money and try out truecrypt if you need some encryption software.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Customer service is non-existant and very well might not even still be in business. LET THE BUYER BEWARE, you will NOT be happy and you WILL be wasting your money !!
