Total privacy is a misnomer. They lead you to believe that you can visit sites undetected, however, it appears that they only prevent cookies and spyware from attaching themselves to your system and remove same if they do.
A current Norton or McAfee should do the same. Also, one thing that is really annoying----each time that I log on, they insert a pop-up to upgrade the brand new software at a cost that I just installed.

Very unhappy with this purchase.

The other review had me confused, so I thought I'd add my own. This program mainly erases all of your internet activity that is stored on your computer. Anyone who knows anything about hacking computers knows that this information is stored in hundreds of locations and just doing a delete cache, cookies, or internet history isn't nearly enough. Another part of the program encrypts all of your keystrokes so hackers can't get a hold of your user names, passwords, credit card numbers, etc.. The last part of the program lets you put files in a "vault," so no one but you can have access to it. I haven't tried this one out yet, but it seems easy to use. Overall, it does what it says and I like that it hasn't slowed down my system at all. I highly recommend this product if you are as paranoid as I am about having your identity stolen or having your computer hacked.

I had my identity stolen a few years ago and it was a nightmare to get everything straightened out. I am on the internet all the time, so I definitely need software to protect me from the evil doers out there. This is one of the programs I use. It works great. Very easy to set up. I don't even know it's running. It didn't slow down my computer either, which is a big plus.
