This course requires successful completion of the CATIA Basics course and an understanding of basic algebra and basic analytical geometry would be helpful. The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the various concepts, terminology and creation techniques relating to contours in space. After successful completion of this course, the student should feel comfortable creating simple quality curves, surfaces, faces, and skins for part definition. This course is a prerequisite for the advanced surfacing course.
