This review is from: Surface and Ground Water, Weathering, and Soils: Treatise on Geochemistry, Second Edition, Volume 5 (Treatise on Geochemisty) (Paperback)
This volume of the Treatise on Geochemistry is highly specialized in surface and groundwater. Some of the papers published here are very interesting in order to understand, for example, the appearance of trace elements in river waters or even weathering at low temperatures (which is the range of temperatures that a river have). Sometimes becomes very technical and is needed a high base on geochemistry, but most of the time is a very understandable book full of references that can be checked on-line. I recommend this book for graduate students that will like to pursue high studies on earth and planetary sciences.
