This was literally the first game I owned for the PlayStation 2 (I've owned over 100 now), and it was definitely one of my favorite's. The controls are not that difficult to use, once you get used to them. The game play is pretty fun, and the music is great. The overall theme was one that I'll reminisce on for ages.

I've never been surfing and after playing this I don't think ill want to.

The fact that this game was created just puzzles me. The games controls are horrible, they are unresponsive, awkward, and are unlike anything ive played. Its hard to explain bad controls with out someone already playing it but trust me its bad. Even if you do start to get the hang of the controls you will probably be able to surf for five maby fifteen seconds before wiping out. The only way I could explain this combination of bad controls and crippling gameplay is that its like trying to drive 180 mph off road while throwing hand grenades out the window at biplanes 30 feet in the air while other cars try to crash into you (slight exaggretion), i dont care how corrdinated you are, you can't keep that up for long. There really isn't that much else to say, the graphics are nothing to write home about and this will really only interest you if you really want to play a surfing game or want to play it to see how bad it is.

I know im making this game seem like the worst game ever but thats because I was really disappointed with this game. I mean the people who made this game are the same people who brought us the Grand Theft Auto games made this (granted this was before GTA 3 but they stil already made the first two and midnight club before this)

I reccomend you just stay away from this game
