Surfing Penguins! I couldn't have thought of a better kids game to start the summer. Surf's Up - The Video Game, is the movie tie-in for - yes you guessed it - Surf's Up. This children friendly surfing game let's even the youngest of players perform cool (and highly unrealistic) aerial maneuvers and stunts. Teens and adults looking for a "real" surfing simulation should look elsewhere (try Transworld Surf for the Xbox). The game offers several different surf spots that are based on locations from the movie. 1-4 Players can play together using splitscreen mode and for those of you looking for a break from surfing, try Leaf Sliding on one of three different tracks. The game offers several unlock-able characters, surfboards and surf spots. Which thanks to the easy difficulty should be no problem to unlock. If you have kids or like Penguins or like Surfing or all of the above; you should give this ride a try.

This was an awesome game! It has a lot of fun levels and playable characters that take a hands on experience of the hit movie "Surf's Up". You can play 10 different Characters that were featured in the movie and pull off tricks on the waves. Every Character has different special moves and it makes the game more entertaining. The Game is highly replayable and it will really pass the time. Music consists of different artist that you may not have heard about, but it fits the mood of the scenery. You also get the ability to use speed boosts to run into other players and get an advantage in the game. Multiplayer is also avaliable for a one on one challenge with friends. The PS3 version allows 4 people to go against each other at the same time. I would highly recommend this game !

My 9-11 year old girls first played this game at a hotel. I ordered it for one's birthday and they both like it. Of course you can read from other reviews that it's very simple but for them it's good that it's easily accomplished. Not every game has to be "Myst".

My 13 year old boy plays it too but won't admit it's fun ;)
