This review is from: Surgi-wax Gel Quik Hair Remover For Face & Brows, 0.5-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
I ordered this from Amazon because my regular preferred product (the Surgi-Wax prewaxed strips for face) was out of stock. This product is horrible. If you try to do it by the directions - warming it in your hands before squeezing the wax onto your face - it doesn't get warm enough, and you end up muscling out a tiny bead of wax which is difficult to spread and doesn't adhere well. I tried circumventing this by warming the tube in a glass of hot water first. Even at our hot water heater temps - 120 degrees, which nearly takes my finger off - it either remains hard and cold and impossible to spread, or sometimes it gets really runny and warm and becomes stringy when you apply it. The wax doesn't want to easily leave the tube, so you end up pulling long strings of wax away from the face as you try to break the connection. It might be good wax, but the application method is just awful. Zero stars.
