4.0 out of 5 stars The best yet
Used in the push-up position this product works quite well. Very smooth like a deraileur. I had to really crank it up to get enough tension though. Would be nice if it could be fixed and not spring loaded. Not quite straight with my chain-line either. But it is still good. You will need an 18mm cone wrench to install, no work around.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dont throw away your old derailleur yet!
I tried this contraption in every position possible using both springs. The device didn't
appear to generate enough spring resistance to even budge the loose chain, or engage the
chain to stay on the singleator sprocket. I will say that I was not happy with the general
quality or feel of this product, like why does it cost so much? Most derailleurs...

quality or feel of this product, like why does it cost so much? Most derailleurs not only
work as advertised to complete a far greater task, but do so flawlessly. They have three
times as many parts and move in three times as many directions, and yet cost less?. After
the singleator failed to do what it was advertised to, I ended up using a old mountain bike
derailleur and pulling it in alignment with my single sprocket and cinching it down with an
old friction shifter. This really is optimum anyway in case you decide to place more sprockets
back on your cassette
