Great Chainring,

This is a great chainring, just be informed that this chainring does not come with chainring bolts. So, if your converting from a multi-speed to a single or 1x9, you will need 6mm single speed chainring bolts with backing nuts. Which aren't hard to find.

The Surly 32T 104MM stainless steel four bolt is a perfect match for my single speed. I use a SRAM 850 chain and have no complaints.

Will outlast your bike,
This review is from: Surly Stainless Steel Chain Ring (Misc.)
If you're looking for a chainring for an all-stainless steel drivetrain, look no further. The Surly stainless chainring will withstand years of (ab)use and may even outlast your bike.
I recently converted my Specialized Hardrock from a 3x8 to a 1x9 drivetrain and went all stainless with the chain/chainring/cassette combination. The 5-bolt/94mm/36T ($40 retail) is not listed, but it is the size I went with. The chainring itself is not the lightest, but it is very beefy and heavy duty quality. I know I can rely on it to last for a long time to come. |
