This book contains a good amount of illustrations in color of very obscure and interesting surrealist artworks. It traces a long span of the surrealist motion and highlights each artists as time progresses.

This book is a perfect introduction to surrealism. The author goes to great depths to explain the movements way of thinking, living, and art style of the sub-conscious mind. Overall this book is great for any art fan, and perfect for a surrealist fan.
