4.0 out of 5 stars New twist to romance
This book was about a woman who was wrongly accused of murder and sentenced to to serve the rest of her life with the husband of the wife which she was suposed to have murdered, and if the two were to fall in love she would be sentenced to death. 1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing to pull me in to want to keep reading.
The events in the story are so far fetched and seem to occur just to keep the story dragging on. The romance seems a little immaturely written. The book does not flow very well (very choppy). I had a hard time finishing it.

4.0 out of 5 stars New twist to romance, December 8, 1999

Well I know you can see where the story leads but the way they went through the hard ships of tring to get along. Meagan knowing she was innocent and Josh wishing and hoping she wasn't guilty. Trouble from the start, love in the end. Truly a must read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Imaginative Story Line, but a little prdictable, November 15, 1999
This review is from: Surrogate Wife (Harlequin Historical) (Mass Market Paperback)
I really enjoyed this story. I mean we all know how it is going to end, but the way in which they are forced to deal with each other is very unique. I have not read this particular plot before. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how it ends, but a good easy read.

I really enjoyed this book. You share the tension that is built up between the two characters. I fell in love with the characters and found the book to be unique.
