So far seems to work great, I ordered 5 of these for work to help cut down on the cold and flu bugs and to help with air quality, myself and another co-worker are always sneezing due to recycled air and since we got these we have not had any problems or itchy eyes. Only down side is, the picture makes it look to be about the size of an alarm clock, I was surprised when they arrived are quite a bit bigger then that. I will add a picture with a something to reference it. Not sure if the dimensions are listed. But anyways, no complaints yet. Sound on medium sounds like a small desk fan...not silent, but not disruptive.

This is a small, tabletop unit, for a small room. Unlike the Surround Air S3000, which works quite well (see companion review), this model leaves a lot to be desired. The motor does not seem to be strong enough, and sounds like it is struggling at any speed. It is quiet enough on low speed, but even then the laboring of the motor is quite noticeable.

We purchased this for our bedroom, to work as a companion to the S3000 in the living/dining area. Our intent was to place it in a wall unit, in a space designed for a fairly large TV. This will not work - the unit blows its air out the back, into the wall. I suppose we could turn it around every time we wanted to adjust the controls, but that can be annoying. Combine that with the constant laboring sound of the motor, and it is just not useable as a bedroom unit.

So this product is relatively cheap as far as air cleaners go, and since I didn't want to spend too much money and saw some decent reviews on[...] - I went for it.

However, this isn't any diamond in the rough. It's not that attractive, and is pretty loud in comparison to an old Oreck I had. There's little difference between low, medium, and high fan speeds and fan noise. Furthermore, when I had first received it, it had seemed that the fan was sputtering rather than running smoothly and calmly. It's this sputtering that is most annoying. I don't mind constant fan noise, I actually kind of like it when going to sleep. But the problem here is that it's not constant.

I've noticed it has gotten a little better, which is odd, and this is only my third day of owning it. However, the cheap manufacturing shines through. Though I think there has been some improvement in the air (probably has been), I'd be lying to you if I told you I could discern it.

Part of me wishes I shelled out an [..] and bought a better well-known brand, but overall, it's alright. I turn it off when I'm watching TV in my room as it interrupts, and if it cleans the air (lets hope it does), that's the most important part.
