I did a fair amount of research before buying and this one was the one I bought. It had the most technology and had had the largest square feet rating. In addition, with all the bottoms and filters and efficiency and ions, it seemed like the best of the best.

I opened it and sent it back to the company the day after it arrived. There were two things that I found unacceptable. Firstly, and MOST importantly, was the noise. The air movement makes next to no noise, but the motor/fan blades RATTLE terribly. I'm a heavy sleeper, and I would never have been able to fall asleep with that in the bedroom. No way.

Second, it seemed very cheaply made. The plastic was thin and too flexible, and the connections that keeps the cover over the filters was poorly designed; it did not fit on without some hard manipulating.

I would recommend looking elsewhere.
