So far seems to work great, I ordered 5 of these for work to help cut down on the cold and flu bugs and to help with air quality, myself and another co-worker are always sneezing due to recycled air and since we got these we have not had any problems or itchy eyes. Only down side is, the picture makes it look to be about the size of an alarm clock, I was surprised when they arrived are quite a bit bigger then that. I will add a picture with a something to reference it. Not sure if the dimensions are listed. But anyways, no complaints yet. Sound on medium sounds like a small desk fan...not silent, but not disruptive.

This is a small, tabletop unit, for a small room. Unlike the Surround Air S3000, which works quite well (see companion review), this model leaves a lot to be desired. The motor does not seem to be strong enough, and sounds like it is struggling at any speed. It is quiet enough on low speed, but even then the laboring of the motor is quite noticeable.

We purchased this for our bedroom, to work as a companion to the S3000 in the living/dining area. Our intent was to place it in a wall unit, in a space designed for a fairly large TV. This will not work - the unit blows its air out the back, into the wall. I suppose we could turn it around every time we wanted to adjust the controls, but that can be annoying. Combine that with the constant laboring sound of the motor, and it is just not useable as a bedroom unit.

So this product is relatively cheap as far as air cleaners go, and since I didn't want to spend too much money and saw some decent reviews on[...] - I went for it.

However, this isn't any diamond in the rough. It's not that attractive, and is pretty loud in comparison to an old Oreck I had. There's little difference between low, medium, and high fan speeds and fan noise. Furthermore, when I had first received it, it had seemed that the fan was sputtering rather than running smoothly and calmly. It's this sputtering that is most annoying. I don't mind constant fan noise, I actually kind of like it when going to sleep. But the problem here is that it's not constant.

I've noticed it has gotten a little better, which is odd, and this is only my third day of owning it. However, the cheap manufacturing shines through. Though I think there has been some improvement in the air (probably has been), I'd be lying to you if I told you I could discern it.

Part of me wishes I shelled out an [..] and bought a better well-known brand, but overall, it's alright. I turn it off when I'm watching TV in my room as it interrupts, and if it cleans the air (lets hope it does), that's the most important part.

Does what it says it does, it purifies air quite nicely, had it next to the cat litter box and the smell went right away.
It is made a bit cheaply though, the overall feel of the unit is cheap, and the interface had some minor glitches when I first used it, but I'm quite sure that's due to the filter cartridge not being all the way in. The UV nightlight is perfect, the color and brightness is absolutely wonderful for a nightlight, which I have never been a fan of [nightlights].
I also experienced sputtering, and the fan isn't the quietest, however I have grown used to it; the pros of the air purification outweigh the cheapness feel of the unit.
Overall I would recommend this product, albeit the fan issues.

After I vacuum upstairs, it always smells musty. Then I switch on this air purifier (loud) and go downstairs for 30 minutes to an hour. When I return, the air is cleared nicely (much better than before we had the purifier around.)


When this machine is running, the loud motor sound is irregular, making me wonder if it's going to give up any minute, though it never does. So, I can't be in the same room with it while it's on, as the sound is very distracting. But it does the job.

I purchased this product with the intent of filtering a 300 sq/ft room but after turning on I can easily see that the motor was underrated for that size. I wouldn't recommend trying to filter any room larger than 150 sq/ft (small bedroom). Also the motor, as stated in the other reviews, is erratic and does not run smoothly. I am not the type of person who complains in reviews over every little thing but I must be honest. Other then that stated above, I believe this air purifier will work if it is placed in a small room.

Also I have been trying to return this product for the last 20 days and have gotten only one response from the Recording Store who is obviously trying to ignore my return request. So please make sure you will be keeping this item because returning it will be a nightmare. I'm still trying to return this purifier for something larger and have already filled a complaint with Amazon.
