I purchased the unit because it said that it was 3000 Watt and it was relatively cheap. In this case you get what you pay for, the sound is substandard, the documentation for the unit is only a few pages (literally), I haven't been able to get it to play music off a usb flash drive, there is a manual, main power switch on the back of the unit that needs to be turned on and off along with the typical power switch on the remote which is a pain. The little circle you see lit up in the image is all you get for information on the status of the unit, so to know what's going on you have to understand 2 digit codes. There is no radio or cd player with the unit, and the buttons on the front of the unit & on the remote control are terrible in conjunction with the display. Also, the subwoofer is part of the main unit, not a separate speaker.

Very nice looking product out of the box but when we hooked it up it did not work. When we powered up the subwoofer it made a sound and each individual speaker worked but when we tried to use all of the input ports ipod/tv/usb etc. none of them worked. It is almost like the inputs were never wired properly or connected internally. I guess you get what you pay for. Buyer beware..

This radio says 3000 watts. In my room I have a 1000 watts radio surround system that sounds 4 times as loud as this one does. I wanted to buy a louder radio than the one I have in my room, so I saw this 3000 watts radio and expected it to obviously be 3 times louder than the one I own, but it wasn't. Made a good gift for my little sister because she lives in a dorm and they can't have music that loud.
