It is possible to write a quality sci-fi novel about politics but this is not it.
I did in fact get what I wanted, a book that ended and did not end ... and it is in spite of ... or possibly even because of that, that I cannot give it even a 4.
There were also quite a few loose ends that weren't tied up well and the author introduced characters that seem unimportant to the overall plot of the book.
