This is an excellent resource for those you have a hard time with math. I am using this book for a class I am taking in college. This book along with the instructor have really brought a lot to life for me. I am not good at math, but it has helped bring some very needed understanding which makes me more comfortable with the subject. The book is very self explanatory and it helps to work through the examples in the instruction part of the book to gain a better hold of the subject matter. Also, the Student's Solutions Manual needs to be purchased because it helps to fill in the holes.

Covers a lot of area. But like every math book, it's hard to learn math from a book, so if it comes with a class or teacher, it's a great supplement.

Topics include: Critical thinking skills, Logic, Consumer math, Probability and Statistics along with basic Algebra, Geometry & graphs. Basic concepts covered in understandable text with examples. Colorful pictures and graphs throughout. My high school son is doing well with it. (dually enrolled in college class)

Excellent book with simple descriptions and examples of how to do the work properly. Great book for math students anywhere.

Exactly as described. It got the job done, and didn't have any damage that wasn't listed! This was also a very inexpensive book--my book store wanted two times as much as I payed on Amazon.

I bought a text book for my college math class. i received this item within the estimated arrival time, it was in great condition, and was priced reasonably. I will definitely check amazon again for school textbooks before i waste my time and money at a campus bookstore.

I had ordered this book for a college class. It came in a very speedy fashion and was in incredible shape. I defiantly recommend it.

I ordered this book thinking it was hardcover, but when I received it, it was wrapped in plastic and I had to get a binder to hold the paper. The Book (if that's what you want to call it) had holes already in it to put in a binder. Very disappointed it was loose paper and not a book.

Sad.

It was in grat shape and has all the page. I just wish that the owner would have stated that there was a packet in the front missing. the pack et alone was 80 dollars, so buying this book was kind of a waste of money.
