This is a no-nonsense book, that covers a multitude of 'survival' subjects.
If you are concerned about todays problems, and what they may lead to, get the book. It is well researched.

A bad review because the seller didnt deliver - what relevance is that to the book

Mr Long provides the necessary info to make the right choices.
Buy this book if you see this country degenerating to the point you have to defend yourself. I think the future looks grim.

I've just read Duncan Long's Survival Bible and was not impressed. The book is quite expensive for what it is, which is a shallow survey of survival topics. Much more in-depth discussion can be found for less. I thought with the book being oversized it would be detailed and probably contain photos and diagrams, etc. It does not and the text is sparse. The size and the price are just a marketing gimick to make you think it's something special. There IS more discussion than average about earthquake risks, if you live in one of those areas. However, some of his assertions about firearms (9mm and .223 more effective than .45ACP and .308 respectively) are simply not upheld by the facts. If you are concerned about societal collapse due to war or economics, Mel Tappan's book "Tappan on Survival" is far superior, highly detailed, and properly priced for a paperback.

Some useful tips mostly too much time spent on firearms. Future survival will be about fleas and germs, water, food,and sharing with neighbors not about firearms. Mostly misses the real issues and does not address situations in detail, much too broad taking advantage of the title!

The seller never sent me the book. Icontacted the seller by email ,and they never responded. I would never deal with this seller again.
