More About the Author

I believe every man, woman and child on this planet has the right to eat healthy organic food fresh off the plants. Anyone, anywhere can grow a garden even if you live in a high-rise apartment in Manhattan. There's always room to grow indoors, on balconies, rooftops or in abandoned city plots. If I can help inspire people to start urban gardens my life will have made a difference.

Thank you so much to all my readers who go out there and start planting. You do make a difference with every seed you sow!

This book does nothing to teach you how to plant for survival. It is not a do it yourself book. You can get the same info from hundreds of other books. it talks minimally about regular gardening and then devotes the rest into aqua-ponics.

I have to agree with the other reviewers that bring up the point that this book is not really focused on survival situation, but I can see where the author was coming from when he used the word.

This book is more about gardening in preparation for survival situations. It provides information and ideas for gardening in small areas and making the most of it. It has information about container gardening and aquaponics.

This book is not long, but it has enough information that no one can use the excuse that they have no room for a disaster preparedness garden.

I picked this book up for free, but I definitely think the information is worth a few bucks.

Survival Gardening by Will Cook has something for everyone. It's right down my alley as I grew up on a farm and always love to learn more about growing food. I was particularly interested in the soils for growing. Thanks for the great tips Will!:)

Thanks for the book Will. It was an easy read and gave me more insight to aquaponics and small gardening. I would have liked a longer section with more illustrations on aquaponics gardening setup. Good book though.
