Spider Barbecue,

This review is from: Survival Predators: Giant Tarantula [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Great video, and the best of the 'Predators of the Wild' series. It only disappoints by concentrating on the 'Therophosa leblondi' - which is dull-colored - to the exclusion of all the brighter-colored species, although we do get a couple of glimpses of different species. Also, they exaggerate the potency of the venom, although it can be dangerous since the spider has so much of it. I also like the parts of the interaction of the natives with it especially the spider-egg omelet and the charcoal-broiled spider legs.

Very interesting footage on tarantulas. It was great to see how they live in a natural setting. About 75% of the film is devoted to Tarantulas.
