If you are wondering why Aviation Safety is improving as jetliners industry grows fast with the years, Survival in the Sky is the answer! And if you already own the three (book) volumens of "Air Disaster" by Mc Arthur Job, this videos will Illustrate many chapters. I highly recommend Survival in the Sky for any Aviation Fan or Student.

I saw this series when it was originally broadcast on The Learning Channel and I was totally in awe of the spectacular footage and the investigations where very informative as well. This series is a must for anyone who is an aviation buff!

This series is by far the most complete, thorough, and entertaining airline disaster set ever produced. Each video is professionally done, with great footage, awesome interviews with those involved, etc, etc, etc. For those of you who saw this on TLC a few years back, now's your chance. Forget the others..this set is all you need. Trust me.

Excellent documentary from The Learning Channel. It shows many airline accidents, why they happened and what is being done to keep them from happening again. Very informative.

This 4-Tape "Survival In The Sky" video set is excellent. These four well-done programs put you "right there" at the scene of the various airplane accidents discussed. Top-notch narration as well. Very smoothly done in all respects.

If you're a fan of aviation, you'll love this set of tapes. Each volume sheds new light on many well-known (and some not-as-well-known) airline disasters. I learned a lot of little tidbits from each program. Worthy of every rating star, and then some.

Four VHS tapes for the low. low price of $375.00? Is this a typo? Do they have heroin or something? Granted, the shows are the best I've ever seen, but honestly.....why so expensive? Does anyone have a different source? Maybe on DVD?

Being an aviation buff, I own dozens of videotapes on air travel and air safety, this series, put on by The Learning Channel, is probably the best show ever on air safety. The quality of the production is superb, and the way the show is laid out makes for some very compelling watching.

These tapes are now very rare, and going for about $80 each (not the entire set, each tape), so if you find a copy of the set, buy it. I feel very lucky that I own it.
