Karen Commings is a writer, artist and photographer. She has a bachelor's degree in Art History from Pennsylvania State University and a master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a columnist and contributing editor to Cat Fancy magazine for 10 years, a columnist for Computers in Libraries and Central Pennsylvania Apprise magazines, a regular contributor to CatWatch - the magazine of the Cornell University Feline Health Center -, and contributing editor for cats to Pets.com.
