Creating a life that heals,
By
This review is from: Why I Survive AIDS (Paperback)
As a healthcare professional and as someone who has lost freinds and family to AIDS, I was greatly encouraged by this book. At one time, it was required reading by an English professor at Georgia State University. I know a person with AIDS now, whom after reading it, found important information and encouragement to continue living successfully and fully with HIV illness for over 14+ years! A must reading for anyone who wants to retain control of their own life while facing any health challenge. People do not die of AIDS. They die of the fear of inevitable death, pervasive misinformation, and a surrender to the medical and pharmaceutical establishment. This book is a powerful witness to a woman's battle to rob death, personal healing, and triumph over what is seen as a endless or hopeless battle. It is good reading whether you have a life threatening illness or not because it is a true story about hope and personal empowerment!

Once again,
By Josquin Desprez "Joseph" (as part of the earth) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Why I Survive AIDS (Paperback)
Once again someone who believes that the human condition is divine and that we can change our lives ourselves shows that life doesn't have the limitation put on to it by people who are scared of thinking for themselves...or is it that these people want to control life in order to profit from it, or is it that these people want to make themselves out to be victims to avoid taking responsability for the fact that they can change their lives themselves? Don't be a victim, decide that you can change your life yourself and the tools you need will come your way. What you get by making yourself out to be a victim just remains a vicious cycle.
