This is a great version of Survive!: Essential Skills and Tactics to Get You Out of Anywhere - Alive. It comes with a remastered DVD of two episodes of Survivorman but the big plus is the many full color diagrams and photos showing exactly what to do if you are stranded and alone in the wilderness. While the DVD is a nice bonus, it's the color photographs and diagrams that make the book worth it.The content of the book is basic guide on how to survive in a variety of survival situations in many climates and terrains. It's written in a way that makes sense to the average person, not just experienced backwoodsmen. As someone who spends a lot of time driving and travelling in cold Canadian winters and treacherous road conditions, it was a must read not only for me but also for my wife. You will want to read it for yourself and also toss a copy to your loved ones as well. It's that good. |
