About the Author

Pastor Paul McGraw Ministry is very much like the practice of medicine. Within the general pastoral ministry there are specialty ministries. One of those specialties is the bereavement / funeral ministry. God in His sovereign wisdom called me to specialize in ministering to those who have lost a loved one to death. Candidly speaking, I would not have chosen this specialty; but I have found the bereavement ministry to be deeply rewarding, and I now prefer it to all other specialty ministries. Writing this book enables me to console, comfort, and encourage more people in print than I could ever reach in person.

This book was written by a man who has had to counsel many people during the bereavement stages of their lives. Paul is a pastor and found a unique and special calling creating comfort out of the chaos of a recent death. He offers practical advice (don't break confidences of the one who passed) and personal and spiritual insights into how to cope with losing a loved one.
