5.0 out of 5 stars Indie is Marvelous
This is one of the best indie albums I've heard in a long time. It's fantastic. The music is just good, what else can I say?

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, but their second CD is better
This was the debut CD from Seafood. It is very decent, especially the single This Is Not An Exit, also Belt, Guntrip and Folksong Crisis, but this is heavily derivative of several bands, especially The Pixies. This is an indierock CD following the tradition of the Pixies' own Surfer Rosa, but at times the obsession gets too much. Seafood's second CD When Do We Start...

This is an indierock CD following the tradition of the Pixies' own Surfer Rosa, but at times the obsession gets too much. Seafood's second CD When Do We Start Fighting is catchier, more original and better produced - the tunes are just better. This one's decent too though.

I hate it when I buy a cd and it isn't exact what I thought it'd sound like. Sure I do love me a good suprise but I had the impression that these guys had energy and sounded kinda fast, like fast emo or something like that. This idea comes from I time where I saw my friend watching a skateboard video and there song came on, I really like it becuase it was fast and emo at the same time. Then it comes to today, I buy it and I'm rather... well very dissapointed. It just sounds like EVERY other indie album. How could you like indie rock? I'm sorry but I'm going to go against the establishment and say, what's so great about indie rock? I mean one or two albums are okay in every collection but I'm so sick of folk inspired shlock. I used to like Bright Eyes until I realized he sucked, so now I have another stupid band t-shirt that I don't even like (but I'll keep it becuase girls think your smart if you listen to that crap). Geeze I'm sorry to go off on a tangent but this kinda music is so BORING! I might want to listen to this album if I was on valium or something but I'm not so right now I don't need mellow music. Call me stupid, but since when does it mean that listening to boring music makes you smart? I like slow music, I just don't like boring music. This cd is boring and it sounds like every other indie rock album out there. This stuff is a dime a dozen.
