I'm not sure I would take the advice of trying to get laid off. Although conceptually it makes complete sense form the anti-socialism perspective it would be a much better idea to start your own business to employ yourself and avoid corporate servitude.

The rest of the ideas are a "good start" on the new anti-socialist manifesto necessary for being a U.S. conservative. The sad fact is the faster we collapse this economic policy through sabatoge the faster we can highlight its issues and
lessen the pain it will cause us all, and subsequently make the changes necessary to fix the broken system.

Objectivism and U.S. convservatism will continue to point out the Ayn Rand prophecy that has been proving true for over 60 years so far in America. The intellectual working class will abandon the U.S. Socialism attempt, the rich will become even richer and the poor even poorer. Prepare for the future America!!! The system's broken-ness is starting to push it over the cliff!!!

This author doesn't mince words. He gets right to the point. This country is ass-backwards with regard to our economic system and how the Founders intended it to be. We started out as a capitalist, God-fearing, democratic republic. We ARE a nanny state full of entitlements and no rights.

The first half of this quick read is about the current state of the country and why the author can claim this is a socialist country. THe second half is about what we can do about it. I haven't read the other books in this series, but I guess this part is more in line with those earlier books--practical things you can do to "Take advantage" of the government that's taking advantage of you. The final technique is basically to get rid of it (or nullify it in the way of Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century). THis is a good, short read. If you can overcome some of the editing snafus, you'll very much enjoy it. And who knows, you might be inspired to do something about the state of this country.

Short and to the point. Though I think I'm more aware than most- I learned some new things. Thought provoking to say the least.

Pretty much just a list of Govt give away programs that you probably don't qualify for.

As seems to be typical among conservatives in the last decade, the word "socialism" is used without any actual understanding of what it means.
