Review
"A beautifully woven fabric of theory, practicality, and humanity. This first of its kind, how-to book for professionals in mental health has depth and poignancy, and should be required reading even for those not doing grief work." --
Charles Larsen, MSW,LCSW"A valuable work which provides information not only about the process of grief therapy, but also the nuts aand bolts of organizing a survivor's support group. Anyone considering working with the survivors of homicide will find this book an important tool. Sound clinical material is presented, along with valuable information concerning the organization and maintenance of a support group." --
John Stephenson, Ph.D."Excellent and a fine contribution to the field. It is thoughtfully and clearly written. The course outline is exactly what a practitioner would need if he/she wanted to begin to provide grief therapy for survivors of homicide victims. In addition to mental health professionals, I think it is "must" reading for any victim service practitioner who works with survivors of homicide victims." --
