From Library Journal
Bridges, a management consultant, provides valuable information for anyone involved in managing a transition and especially for those contemplating actions that will result in transition for others. He uses examples from successful and unsuccessful corporate attempts to deal with change, and his concern and understanding of the human relations aspects are evident throughout. One important area he covers is the unique role and special responsibilities of the leader during a transition. This timely book on an important topic for managers is a welcome addition to the literature. Highly recommended. Grace Klinefelter, Ft. Lauderdale Coll., Fla.
