An eye-opening read, October 10, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Survivor College (Paperback)
I found the book to be insightful and incredibly honest in its handling of some of the most hotly debated elements of higher education. This book will validate some of the secret thoughts that have crept across the minds of many junior administrators as well as potentially infuriate some of the old guard. I am anxious to see what subjects the author takes on next.

Dr. Harpool's book is a must read for college administrators striving to stay ahead of the curve. During this time of fiscal belt-tightening "Survivor College" provides creative and insightful solutions for those trying to deal with the changing landscape of higher education. I found the book easy to read, easy to understand and very applicable to the issues facing college administrators on a daily basis. Harpool does a nice job a helping college administrators identify issues and how to challenge the status quo.
