Wow, Amazing CD, December 24, 2006

The CD starts off powerfully with the 1st 2 songs, both of which are uptempo & hott. Then the 3rd song, Summertime, which is beautifully rearranged comes in to change the pace. It hits on all cylinders & really merges the new & the old in jazz seamlessly. One of my favorite CD's of any genre. I enjoyed it so much I purchased 5 copies for friends, who all love it. This is 1 of those under the radar joints that make you scratch your head when you hear it & say, 'Why wasn't I up on this earlier'

Excellent CD by an excellent musician. All tunes are well chosen, especially Summertime that was played by tens of musicians, but this version is one of my favorite. Check it out.
