I am former U.S. Secret Service and also federal law enforcement with an extensive background in U.S. Customs and exposing corruption within OUR Government.
I also spent over 15 years as well as over 25 years in law enforcement and private practice as a private investigator.I was USSS at 21 years of age, then SDPD, U.S. Mint Police/Treasury, U.S. Customs & Immigration and then Private Investigator, now a consultant since 2007.

This book is by far the most detailed and researched book on the JFK assassination ever to date.!!
I, personally, have researched the JFK assassination since 1963 when I was only 10 years old and especially when joining the USSS in September 1974 in Washington,D.C.(Working at the FMD and later WHD)Presidents Ford And Carter.

Of all the information I am aware of and researched, Vincent Palamara has done more research to prove that not only were "Mistakes" made in Dallas that day on 11-22-63, but some things that may have been done intentionally and criminally negligent. I have also verified this through other law enforcement resources as well.

The cover up on the JFK assassination is one of the most damaging things to have occurred to our country and to know that even our own U.S. Secret Service may have participated in the assassination directly or indirectly has impacted on the future of this once great country. Procedures could have been followed and President Kennedy would still be alive today.

It is obvious to me that there was more than one shooter and that many others were involved and a few that were "rewarded" when LBJ was sworn in as President. (Facts are just now coming out about LBJ as well too!)
I am personally aware of information that shows evidence was altered and then Government witnesses were later assassinated by U.S. Military Special Forces with regards to medical autopsy reports witnessed and viewed by Naval Personnel and FBI agents. This was a "coup" not a "lone gunman" theory. That is ALL "black Ops" and cover ups.

My hat is off to Vincent and all his research and tenacity for uncovering what I see as the Truth about our Government which has come to control more than agencies, but our own lives. A book well worth reading and keeping to teach our children what the real Truth is regarding the assassination of John F. Kennedy and possibly others.

John Carman
Former U.S. Secret Service

by Douglas P. Horne, author of "Inside the Assassination Records Review Board"

Vince Palamara's revised and expanded version of this book is a tremendous improvement over the 1990s version that was self-published in a spiral notebook format, under the same title.

Palamara remains the world's foremost expert on the behavior of the Secret Service during JFK's administration, and during President Kennedy's trip to Texas, in November of 1963.

The security stripping and malfeasance of this organization surrounding JFK's Dallas trip, and the treasonous behavior of "dirty" individuals in the White House detail during November of 1963, are exposed. Vince has shown tremendous courage and integrity in publishing this book.

Anyone who attempts to dismiss this book with political spin, and with "political correctness"---without discussing the evidence---should not be listened to. I have noticed a pattern this year in the mainstream media: pundits are attempting to dismiss the work of honest JFK researchers, and to support the Warren Commission, without discussing evidence at all. This is a bankrupt position, and a blatant appeal to "authority." If there is anything Americans have learned during the past 50 years, it is NOT to blindly accept the pronouncements of authority when it comes to issues like assassinations, or how wars begin.

I congratulate Vince Palamara, and urge everyone to buy this book now. It will be an invaluable addition to anyone's JFK assassination collection on this, the 50th anniversary of the event that forever changed America. END

I first met Vince years ago on the phone and quickly realized he was into the same arena that my father was concerning the culpability of the Palace Guards in the killing of JFK. Dad interviewed the two Agents that Vince could not if only because by the time Vince started his interviewing and investigation they had passed on in the mid 1980's. Vince gallantly took up the cause after Dad "retired" from the scene and carried on with that same line of investigation. Thank God his interviews were done and recorded and the aptly titled "Secret Service" scrutinized and properly accused of the gross negligence incompetence and yes culpability in the assassination. It is most gratifying to see in Survivor's Guilt the credit my father and his partner Perry Adams get for their "groundbreaking" research and ideas. Dad's then unpublished manuscript titled Murder From Within combined with David Lifton's Best Evidence changed the focus of the debate at the time from an outside complicated plot to a simple "inside job" not involving hundreds of people ala the movie JFK. The only cast of characters in this whole charade that could have both killed the President AND covered it up had to involve the Palace Guards who set the whole motorcade up controlled the speed of the Limo (documented by Vince and my father to have slowed to a near dead stop twice during the shooting) and then grabbed all the evidence before the FBI or Dallas Police could examine it. It's a story as old as the 4 Roman Emperors done in by their own Praetorian Guards and very common throughout world history. Indira Gandhi, Benigno Acquino, Anwar Sadat and recently Pakistani Governor Salmon Taseer [...] were all betrayed and killed by their own body guards and the trusted people in their own inner circle. It's how things are done every where else throughout the world. Did that same thing happen here in Dallas in 1963?. Read this book to see the unvarnished truth of Kennedy's betrayal by his own security. It's very well documented and impeccably researched. Right up there with the top 5 books on the subject.

Vincent Palamara's book is must read for anyone interested in the contextual truth behind the security and Secret Service inconsistencies which led to the execution of our 35th President on the streets of Dallas, Texas. I am fortunate, as I co-wrote The Man Who Killed Kennedy with former Nixon aide and legendary political consultant, Roger Stone, to have Palamara's material at close hand. Stone had a unique perspective on Secret Service interactions with aides during trips similar to Kennedy's fateful Dallas stop, having coordinated thirteen presidential trips. This knowledge, coupled with the extent and depth of Palamara's unsurpassed reportage in the matters of Secret Service protocol was invaluable. Palamara has interviewed more than eighty former agents, including agents who indeed believed their President was killed as a result of a conspiracy. Then there is the admissions of June Kellerman, widow of the late Roy Kellerman, who rode in the Presidential limousine, that her late husband knew there was more to the conspiracy. Palamara, like so many other brave assassination researchers before him, has a want for the truth, and the motivation to look for it. For the sake of history, buy this book.

Having followed JFK and his murder from the time I was in grade school most books, films, and documentaries are simply review. Mr. Palamara's book is filled with new and vital information culled from decades of interviews with the largest sample of Secret Service agents than ever before. The fact the Agent Abraham Bolden has given his stamp of approval means you can trust the information and conclusions in this book.
I find myself reading and re-reading many parts of this book. I'm using it as a reference piece to the many current books and documentaries that are out now. This book is refreshing because Mr.Palamara is not afraid to go against the status quo.You know somebody is on to something when they start facing opposition.
A number of things stand out from the book. The first is the question whether JFK asked agents off the rear of the car during the motorcade.Obviously this has been proven untrue by the many Agents interviewed by the author.Except from the few that blame the victim, a time honored tradition, because once the leader is dead,he or she becomes a non person that cannot defend themselves.
The author's insight into individual agents such as Mr Kellerman and driver Bill Greer is fascinating. From the trip down Elm street to the autopsy at Bethesda these two agents action's are most suspect. Also found in the book are contradictions from agent Clint Hill who described the President's wounds to be in the right rear of his head with portions of the brain missing. This indicates an exit wound. If you ask Mr Hill now he states "one gun, three shots all from Oswald"
If you are someone who has followed the JFK assassination this book is an essential for your library. Along with the book by James Douglas "JFK and the Unspeakable" Mr Palamara's new book should be required reading.

This is a Book that, is Long overdue on this Subject surrounding this case. The Author, Vince Palamara has been researching the Secret Service for over 30 years in the case of Pres Kennedy's death in Dallas. In this book, You will find "the Truth" about the Secret Service Detail on that, day in Dallas on 11/22/63. Mr Palamara has been referenced in Many JFK Books, Documentary's & other research involving the assassination of Pres Kennedy. It will answer the questions of the complicity of the Secret Service's involvement (or lack there of) on that Dark Day in Dallas...drinking until 3-4am in the morning, leaving President Kennedy wide open w/ No Protection in Dealey Plaza & Most of the Motorcade thru-out Dallas. Many issues that, would cause Most of Us in the Real World to lose our Jobs...Not one Agent was reprimanded, Not one Job lost but...on that Day Americans, Lost a Great President...with his death that continues to have an effect on America in ways that, Many do Not even understand today. I Highly recommend this Book this Year, if You do Not buy another Book on this subject...this is the one that You want to read. For anyone, who has studied the JFK assassination for Many Years...there is still a Lot to learn thru this subject & of course for any JFK researcher this is a Must Read! Buy this book & read how Pres Kennedy was Not Protected by those that, were hired to do so & failed miserably that day...pass it on to friends so, People will know that Pres Kennedy was NOT responsible for his own death...

This book surprised me. I knew Vince Palamara was the world's expert on the Secret Service details during the Kennedy era, so I expected in-depth reporting on their activities. What surprised me was the unmistakeable inference that the Kennedy detail was grossly responsible for his death, and by implication from Mr Palamara's narrative, not just responsible for it but possibly for planning it. You can toss out the Warren Report that turned its back on the culpability of these agents (whom before I read this I had high respect for them). Now I am hoping members of congress will examine the ramifications of "Survivor's Guilt" and reopen the investigation of John Kennedy's death. The book is a page turner, and filled with an abundance of evidence. My only criticism is that so many agents are implicated I had a hard time keeping track of them, and some acronyms whizzed over my head, but this only makes me want to re-read this IMPORTANT book, including every footnote, as it seems to heal the scars of my memory of the awful crime of the assassination and most likely the framing of a patsy, so that there is a promise the great TRUTH will finally be revealed in my life time. Kudos Mr Palamara, you deserve the gratitude of our nation for writing this... and perhaps a Pulitzer?

As an author very familiar with the topic (I co-authored two books on the JFK assassination with Richard Belzer and one with Jesse Ventura), I know firsthand that this is one of the most important books to come along in a long time.

Vince Palamara is the foremost source for information regarding the U.S. Secret Service, especially in its specific relation to the assassination of President Kennedy.

This book covers aspects with which most people will at first be very unfamiliar; yet they are crucial to developing a full understanding of some extremely important components of contemporary history.

A Must-Have book. Great work and Five Stars all the way!

Many thanks to Mr. Palamara for making his invaluable contribution to the JFK assassination literature more available than ever in this expanded and updated Trine Day edition.

For those who are 'on the fence' re purchasing this essential book, it's time to climb on down and get it! You won't be disappointed, and I speak as one who has had the spiral bound version for many years (as well as a "print 'n staple" version from Mr. Palamara's website). It's great that this indispensable work is now available in a conventionally-bound version.

As the author himself might say, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Five Stars!
