I was lucky enough to be introduced to Alberto Plaza's music a few years ago, and I fell instantly and totally in love with his work, which mixes romantic ballads, uptempo Latin beats, and indigenous Andean instrumentation. This 2-CD set includes the biggest hits from all his CDs up to Un Día Más, so it offers an excellent sampling of some of the most beautiful music recorded in South America over the last two decades. Just TRY to hear that voice and not fall in love the way I did--it can't be done!
