Susan Egan is delightful! My daughter and I went to hear her in concert this past year. This 2 disc CD (which, by the way, is very reasonably priced), is like being at the concert again. For anyone who is a fan of Susan, I would hightly recommend getting this CD. If you don't know her, but enjoy music that is a pleasure to listen to, I would recommend it for you, as well. Her voice is lovely and the choices of songs and clever conversation between make for an enjoyable listening experience.

Before grading the performances, I'd like to say that I am so glad they left in Susan's stories between the songs. They truly recreate the live experience. As for Susan's talent and versatility, it is showcased wonderfully here and this CD demonstrates why she deserves to be considered among the top talents in the history of the American stage. Her expressive, crystalline voice forces you to smile as you listen. Bravo!
