Hello! Thanks for visiting my author page on Amazon. I'm the author of the humorous Baby Boomer mysteries, which follow the adventures of Carol and Jim Andrews as they navigate their way along life's highway toward their twilight years. With one dead body thrown in, just to keep things interesting. Here's a little information about me. I've been a feature writer, drama critic and editor for daily and weekly newspapers and magazines in the NY metro area. I'm a member of Sisters in Crime and the Cape Cod Writers Center, both great resources for writers. My first Baby Boomer mystery, Retirement Can Be Murder, was released in 2009 and has been suggested for a tv series. The second book in the series, Moving Can Be Murder, was released in 2011. The third book, Marriage Can Be Murder, was released in 2012, and features a destination wedding on Nantucket. It was chosen as one of Suspense Magazine's 2012 Best Mysteries. Book 4 in the series, Class Reunions Can Be Murder, is about Carol's 40th high school reunion. Book 5, Funerals Can Be Murder, is slated for national release on October 7. And I'm already hard at work on Book 6, Second Honeymoons Can Be Murder. My puppy, Boomer, a four-year-old English cocker spaniel, is the cover model for the books. He's quite the handsome guy. I'm also a 16-year breast cancer survivor, and a portion of the sales of all the books goes to support the Breast Cancer Survival Center, a non-profit I co-founded in 1999 to provide post-treatment education and support for survivors. BCSC is an official Amazon Smile program charity, a way for Amazon customers to support a non-profit charity through their purchases. It's so easy. Go to the Amazon Smile page, enter Breast Cancer Survival Center, and register. And every time you shop, Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase from their profit to help breast cancer survivors. What a wonderful thing! There are at least 5 more books planned in the series, so stay tuned!
