Susan Tuttle resides in a small, rural town in the state of Maine. Her studio, although tiny, has a marvelous view of the woods, which provides countless moments of inspiration as she works -- she enjoys immersing herself in photography, iPhoneography, digital art, and abstract mixed-media painting. Susan has a passion for blogging, where she attempts to capture through photographs and the written word, the beauty of all things simple and ordinary in her life. You will also find a number of DIY projects, crafts, and thrifty fashion ideas on her blog.
Susan has authored four books: Art of Everyday Photography: Move Toward Manual & Make Creative Photos (North Light Books, August 2014), Photo Craft: Mixed Media and Digital Approaches to Transforming Your Photographs (North Light Books, November 2012, co-authored with Christy Hydeck), Digital Expressions: Creating Digital Art with Adobe Photoshop Elements (North Light Books, April 2010), and Exhibition 36: Mixed-Media Demonstrations and Explorations (North Light Books, 2008). Her work can also be seen in a variety of other North Light Books publications, Somerset Studio magazine, and several Stampington & Company special publications.
