Genuine Susato Low D Whistle, September 13, 2005

I just received this whistle and it plays beautifully. It is indeed a true low whistle, and requires a piper's grip to play as opposed to the general size pennywhistles.
The whistle is constructed of a light weight PVC plastic and is quite comfortable to hold while playing. The low pitch lends itself quite well to some of the slower aires, and is almost haunting.
