Tough Game, Frenzied Fun,

This review is from: Sushi Go Round (Video Game)
This game is a lot like Hell's Kitchen and Diner Dash, not like Cooking Mama as you are touching ingredients, not chopping or peeling them. You're a budding sushi chef, combining ingredients and keeping them in stock to continue serving your customers.
You gradually learn to create about a dozen rolls, but things get very frenzied later in the game and it's challenging but fun. Play control is responsive, the graphics are cartoony but cute. Overall, this game is a lot of fun if you enjoy the aforementioned games.

I'll keep this simple. It's not a bad game but it has a fatal flaw: you cannot save your progress. I was playing, I was fairly amused with the whole making the different sushi and serving it up in spite of the glitchy issues I was having with the plates not wanting to clear and the sushi rolling itself up before I had all the ingredients on it. And in spite of that I was rolling along making good time until I didn't hit the goals for one of the levels and then guess what! You get to start over from the beginning! If I am ever in the mood for something pointless and mildly irritating though entertaining for a very short period of time I'll get it out again, but mostly I view it as a waste. I considered giving it three stars because it's sort of ok, but really that's just too generous.

This game is great because you need to remember how to make each dish. You can look it up in the recipe book but it will slow you down. You also have to determine when you need to purchase more food items for cooking. My daughter is nine and really enjoys this game. An extra bonus you can take pictures of up to four family or friends and then they come to your restaurant.
