Searched for replacement RED LED clock because one day mine just stopped working, bought @Walgreens, ~5 years old - Bummers, got used to it being around, neat conversation piece. Found this model offered as NEW item for a slight discount, but turned out to be a returned, repackaged model. It arrived dis-functional swing arm rubbed and made annoying click noise was able to repair but damaged case in process - yes, very cheap workings. Agree that the blue display is poor choice and barely legible. Consider which neon-bright sign you would like to stare at; one in red or blue? Neat concept clock, made a great gift too, but and am still looking for a replacement RED version (TDE Systems). This one is now a night light for the basement... tapped seller for misrepresenting item, too. Ps: Tried to swap the LED swing-arm with my dead one and the display appeared inverted... gaa, you guys [shaking fist].
