I've only had it a few weeks, but I've used it almost daily, and it works reliably with one very minor glitch: its sensitivity in the first minute or two of a workout is questionable. Sometimes the heart rate display in the first few minutes doesn't change when I know full well my heart rate has. This is probably related to electrical conductivity. As soon as you start to perspire at all it's 100% reliable, and I've avoided this problem by pre-moistening the contacts. I think one can buy special conductive gel like what they use in EKGs. Anyway, this is minor. I've used it on twelve 50-180 minute runs and never had any problem except in the first minute or two. The chest strap is also comfortable enough that you can forget it's there.

I was a little wary of purchasing the t3c as I had read many negative reviews of Suunto's Training Watches. I'm very glad I went ahead and purchased the t3c. It has exceeded all my expectations. The menus are intuitive and I had not problem at all with the heart rate monitor. It is very important to wet two points of the Heart Monitor's chest belt. If you don't do this, you'll be writing negative reviews about the t3c. The manual very clearly instructs doing this and I pick up my heart beat right away and it appears to be accurate. One nice feature of both the watch and the Comfort Belt (Heart rate monitor) is that you can replace the batteries yourself. I remember using a Polar HRM years ago and you had to send it back to the factory for battery changing!

A nice manual comes with the t3c and very importantly the t3c is capable of pairing with different PODs so you can get distance data, and if you're a cyclist, cadence data. I'll probably go ahead and get the distance POD.

The t3c is a very nice system and I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with this product. It is not hard to opperate if you can read. Dont be lazy.

One thing about the seller: The watch and chest strap batteries were activated and I dont know for how long. The watch is suppose to pick up the chest strap up to 15 feet away. My watch does not pick up the chest strap at arms length. I am assuming this is due to low battery life of either watch or chest strap.

This is the only issue I am having and assume it will be fixed with a new battery.

Suunto needed to have more options for females. I would like to wear the watch for everyday, but the face is way too large.
