I purchased a Suunto T3 watch a few years ago. After replacing the battery in the watch and the the belt, I noticed that the watch would loose contact with the belt during long workouts. While cleaning the belt, I noticed that it was cracked on one end. So I purchased a new belt. It was very simple to sync the new belt with my watch. I am now more careful stowing the heart rate belt in my gym bag.

How did Suunto dare to seel this product? I just lost all respect for the brand. It just doesn't work underwater, it fails to turn off automatically, it just keeps on working for hours, draining the battery. I was thinking on purchasing dive equipment, but now I'm definitely going to look for another brand, this one is no guarantee for quality.
