I need a quick azimuth and elevation check for an instrument at work and this little device was the perfect answer. No batteries, no set-up, just look through the viewfinder and read off the compass heading or elevation angle.

product works everytime I setup my satellite for tailgating and camping. dish network installer had one of these, showed me how to use it, and it is flawless. worth the money! saves 15-20 minutes easily over manually trying to tune your satellite.

This tool along with a sun report for the day of your shoot will tell you all you need to know about the sun during a location scout. If I am shooting a commercial with a large natural light window in the room I can tell my AD exactly what time to schedule the scene so the sun will be shining through the window.
