So when I bought this band a couple years ago, i thought it was great. 5 stars all the way!
It was easy to install. It looked really nice.
The only thing is that the loop that holds the band from bugging the hell out of you breaks after about 2.25 years of constant use.
The original band loop lasted exactly same amount of time as this replacement.
I think Suunto has created a technology for the loop to fall off after 2.25 years. It is a pretty high tech watch after all.
This is a good covert marketing plan since 2.25 years is long enough for people not to complain that the loop fell off, but it is perfect since you will buy another band since your watch isn't that old.
I am going to buy another one of these. I will just put a reminder in my iPhone to buy another in 2.25 years. Plus I love my Suunto Core watch!

This watchband was a perfect fit for my Suunto Core watch and was easy to install. Obscenely expensive - $50 for a rubber watchband? But generic watchbands won't fit this watch so they had me cornered. Identical to the original in every respect.

I thought the price was a bit excessive. However, finding a replacement proved more challenging then simply purchasing the item I needed. Bottom line: I love the watch this band is designed for, and it simply came down to either making the purchase of allowing the watch, with current broken band, to remain unwearable.

I purchased it to replace the original orange strap, because old one became dirty after 4 months of everyday usage. New black one is nice, but have some small lacks. First - the geometry of fat part of the strap does not follow my hand very well, fat part is not flexible, so watch became raised a little. Second - connection borders of this strap doen not exactly folows watch surface at bottom, there are a little chink. On the hand his chink is invisible. Strap lock works better in comparison with an orange one.

I put my Suunto watch through the wringer. I never take it off so it is constantly getting banged soaked and scratched. I have had my current band for about a year now and it has held up beautifully. The band is a little expensive, but its worth the investment. It was the exact replacement for my Suunto Core and fit perfectly. You may need a eye glass screw driver to help put it on.

I've read some of the other reviews: the strap IS labeled for a Suunto Core. It's not universal. Unfortunately, the strap of the Core is the weakest part. I've replaced mine 3 times in the last 5 years. I switched to this sportier looking strap a month ago and like it a lot better then the flat strap I used to have. It's very comfortable and feels much sturdier. Excellent product.

i don't know why but i wasn't expecting it to be chrome at the latch. it was, and i debated returning it for the all black but its not that big a deal. i love my sunnto core watch, and unfortunately it seems like the watch bands have a 2 year shelf life. whatta ya gonna do.

They are defective and Sunnto will not admit to it, but I have been through 3 and they have many complaints but do nothing. You can purchase a D4I novo strap that they supposed to had made improvements on.

Replacement watchband for Suunto Core is almost an exact replacement. Only thing different is that the screws and buckle are chrome plated and not black like the original. Wish it was a bit cheaper.
