Suunto Core Wrist-Top Computer Watch Replacement Strap (Flat Orange)

Had this strap for a year and, without all that much rough wear, it broke in two places. First, the small piece/loop that is intended to hold the "extra" strap to the band tore off. I kept wearing it using a doubled-over loop of duct tape to keep the strap tame, but before long the entire strap tore at one of the holes in the band. Not to mention it didn't stay orange for very long since the orange just collects dirt and turns much of it black/brown after a few months. Unless you're intending to only wear your Core around the house and never actually use it for what it's intended for, get a more durable strap. I gave it two stars instead of one because it was actually quite comfortable.

I got this band for my Core All Black, and so far so good. I made one change and took the piece from my black band to hold down the extra strap length and swapped it out with the orange one. You can see this in my photo. Very comfortable.

Let me start by saying that I wasn't sure if I would really like the orange color of the band, but it really grew on me quickly. Also, it is comfortable, easy to adjust, and intelligently designed so that it doesn't come loose. It stays in place very well unlike some other watch bands I have experienced over the years.

Here is the downside for me--as mentioned by another reviewer--the band develops dark stains from very normal use. It seems to leech dye out of clothing and anything it comes in contact with. It doesn't just get dirty, mind you, it gets stained. At first I thought I would be able to scrub it clean and bring it back to new... not the case. If you don't mind a grungy looking watch band then go for it. Otherwise, save your money and go for a darker color instead, or one of the ballistic nylon NATO bands (which are cheap, virtually indestructible, and VERY EASILY swapped out in about 10 secs... You could potentially have one for each outfit if you were so inclined.)

This this does not even remotely look like the color in the picture. When I got it my wife said ' That look like something a child got from a candy machine.' It really does look childish. But hey, if you did neon orange then this is the band for you.

Orange watch band replacement for Suunto Core is as described. However from normal use the watch band develops dark off-colored areas around the excess band strap, and along the edges of the straps themselves giving the watch band a dirty appearance. I have replaced the watch band twice within 8 months to keep my watch looking as new as posible, but at 50$ per replacement strap I have decided to just replace it with a black one. If u dont mind that dirty black look then this is the band for you, if your as picky as me then you might want to think twice about getting this replacement watch band and just go with a black one.

Strong orange rubber to replace the original one. But I didn't use mine yet. Beautiful strap, and with that you can change the orange 24 mm for another brand in your Suunto Core. The aluminum link is the most important part in my opinion....just a litle bit expensive for U$50.00.
But you don't have choice with Suunto. If you like to change the original black rubber strap, you need this strap to use the links

original suunto strap. actually just bought the strap for the lugs in order to fit other custom straps on the suunto core watch. i am saving this for the summer time. excellent service from amazon.
