I purchased several design books this year, and this is by far the best. The style of Inspired Interiors is fresh, classic, timeless and never stuffy or overdone. The commentary is very easy-to-read, and offers straightforward, pragmatic advice. Whether you are looking for a gift, or want a good guide for yourself that looks lovely on the coffee table, you can't go wrong with this book.

I would recommend this one, especially if you have a transitional style of decorating. Very glamorous rooms with a good balance of femininity and splashes of color mixed with neutral tones.

I've been a fan of Suzanne Kasler for years. Her work is polished and refined, yet casual, relaxed and effortless. I had the privilage of working with her as a rep when I managed a trade-only showroom in Atlanta. She has phenomenal taste and her style is unique. Her work is definitely worthy of it's own book. Great job Suzanne, you've always inspired me!

I bought this book shortly after buying a home that needed to be decorated. I found that it contained a lot of great ideas that could be incorporated into any budget with a little imagination. To be clear, if you want to exactly mimic what she is doing, then you better have a fat wallet. But, for most of us, the book is still very useful for seeing what is possible with an unlimited budget, and then working our way down from there.

There is one picture in the middle of the book that looks as though it was taken with a camera phone, but the majority of the pictures are beautiful. And of course, since Kasler's designs so frequently include decorative books, the book is designed in such a way that it would fit right in with her rooms.

Each room has a little blurb from the designer about what she was thinking, with some general principles that she follows. The writing sounds self-important and self-indulgent, but the ideas that she attempts to put forward are worth hearing out. All in all, a book worth getting.

I was very disappointed in this book. It has beautiful pictures, but does not offer useful decorating information. Makes a great coffee table book, but not a good investment for those who are in search of practical, useful, advice.

I have many many design books in my library but of all of them this is the best. Great pictures. Great taste. It's not one room that you like, it's every room.

I travel often to Italy, Germany and France and I haven't seen that many houses in this style! I wasted my money, I want inspiration to decorate my house not a museum. I have a big house but I want to live it not to just look at it. The cover tricked me. it's too much!

I have purchsed many design books over the past year and a half and this is by far one of my favorites. Ms. Kasler really masters transitional style and you can get snippets of ideas to take away and use in your home. She blends very traditional furniture with newer, modern elements to make a combined and updated space. I found the book to have a nice combination of advice with photos; sometimes design books are too photo-heavy or read like a textbook. I use it as reference and also as a lovely coffee table book. If you are a regular person who likes an elegant design book to infuse your home with touches of beauty, this is a good reference and an inspiration point.

For a Rizzolo book the photographs are not that impressive overall. The cover is a good representation of the interior work.

Suzanne Kasler is my kind of designer. She can make a room look highly sophisticated as well as completely livable. This book shows page after page of gorgeous ideas that make you smile.
