I own a variety of life insurance, disability, long term care, liability, and property insurance and wanted to get Suze's take on whether my 30 years of experience was in line with that of the self-proclaimed "America's trusted personal-finance expert".

My first impression upon receiving the package was at how light-weight it is.... it's a mostly empty box with CD-ROM and links to a website. There's no guide or workbook. Glossy packaging, lots of pictures of Suze (including toothy desktop icons) but completely low-level, knee-jerk, amatuerish, self-promoting advice. It functions like the kind of software that would come bundled with a PC -- 15 years ago. It's a simple "logic-tree" program with some links to commercial insurance websites.

If you are serious about this topic, this ain't gonna do it for you. There are far better books, but my advice is to find a person locally who to review your situation, ask in-depth questions and evaluate your desires and needs and do the work to get your program in place.

I purchased this product to get advice on life insurance, disability insurance, and to see if our homeowners insurance is sufficient. The information I received from using Suze Orman's Insurance Kit helped me know which questions to ask as I purchased insurance. I think this product is great.

Once again, Suze comes through. Her products are affordably priced and educational. She makes everything so easy. I would highly recommend this product.

Nothing great here. I do like Suze Orman, but the insurance kit was very generic.

Excellent way to evaluate one's insurance coverage!!
I used it and also took care of my sister's coverage, it's a must have !!

As a newly divorced woman, this made re-evaluating my insurance needs very easy, and took the fear out of making decisions about financial matters dissipate.

I really enjoyed having this product. It is very useful and I would highly recommend this product.

Anyone who follows Suze Orman's advice will appreciate this product. It gives you her very brief opinion of all the basic details of your current insurance which is quite useful. People in search of more detailed assistance will not find it here but what do you expect for a few dollars?

It should be noted that you do not need to buy this product on Amazon. You can simply go to her website and pay an identical fee. On some of her shows she even gives away a free gift code, thus making the entire product 100% free!!!

Strange thing about this disk is I tried to install it on a Mac and nothing happened. But I did get an activation code which would have worked on the internet, had I not gotten her free password.

The Insurance Kit was very helpful and evaluated my auto, home and long term care health insurance. The comments and suggestions were excellent.

I was trying to purchase a new home and got this to get an idea of for how much to insure and when I got to the insurance office, the agent just laughed. The amounts from the kit were not current. It's just not usable in real life. I played with the amounts for autos too and it's not realistic. For being internet based, one would think that it's kept up to date. Save yourself a few bucks and work with a reputable agent who knows what they are doing.

Remember,when Suze says, "You have to have this" remember, she's selling her products.
