this thing is awesome, in that you cover the two ends and you have complete control!! sick bends easy. all you have to do is look at the design, when you play, you have complete control over the air in and out. very warm, rich sound. i have c, a , and e, all worth every penny, im rough on harmonicas, and they have held up fine.

I recently started playing the harmonica. I started with a Hohner Special 20. My small hands had trouble holding the harmonica in a way to form an air-tight shell around the instrument. The Suzuki Pipe Humming harmonica solved that problem. I was able to get a beautiful vibrato the first time playing it. The Suzuki Pipe Humming harmonica has a wonderfully clear beautiful tone. I would recommend this harmonica to anyone.

I have only been playing the harmonica for only a few years yet I love to try new harps. It just adds a little fun back into my practicing and playing. When I saw this harmonica being played on a YouTube video I thought, "Wow! I want that." It wasn't just the sound that lured me to buy it but also the unique look of this instrument. I was really surprised at how reasonable the price was for such a specialized product so I ordered it.

When it arrived I was even more impressed with it in person. It has a VERY solid feel to it and even though it has a different shape than any other harmonica that I have ever held before it fit in my hands perfectly. In a matter of minutes I was able to produce that kind of 'wa-wa' tremolo effect that took me a long time to learn on my regular harp. The genius of this design is that the reed plates and the comb (the exact same ones used on their Promaster series) are enclosed by the cylindrical cover plate, forcing much of the sound through the ends, making it easy to cover and feather with your hands. This should be a great choice for the folk, country and gospel harp player. Since there are no screws on the exterior of the harmonica I have no idea how you would open it up to repair or replace the reed plates but since they sell them I am certain that it can be done.

I have always stuck to Hohner harmonicas and I still like them a lot. However, I am so impressed with this product that I am going to add Suzuki harmonicas to my list of cool harps that I really want. I am sure that I will be buying more soon!

I really do want one in every available key. This isn't a harmonica that "bends" very easily, and if I remember correctly, the instructions kinda ask you not to even try. But the pipe shape really allow for some bending-like effects by plugging up the ends with the palms of your hands, and then releasing. The timbre of the instrument is really quite lovely (almost bird like) and lends itself to a natural vibrato. I think I caught my Grandma coveting it when I showed it to her :-)

This harp is a lot heavier than you would expect. Aside from that I found all 10 tones to be easy to produce on blow and draw. This is not the case with an equally priced Hohner where the 2, 9 and 10 holes take some technique to get a clear tone. This does not alter the bending ability of this harp which is good. A new harp player will be less frustrated when beginning which is why I recommend it even though it is differently shaped. The different shape is easier to get used to then getting clean tone from the Hohners. I use all crossover Hohners though so I wouldn't say don't buy Hohner. My next purchase is likely to be a Hohner Chromatic. But I truly hope to find it up to the quality of the Suzuki.

I am an amateur player but this is one instrument you can pick up and play right away and it sounds good and almost like you know what your doing. Being able to bend a note is so much easier with this design at least for me. I have a few Honer models are they are ok. Its also a good stress release method when you feel the need to yell, just play this instrument loud and the energy you use I think helps too.

I will also look to other models of this design in other keys to get a more Bluesier feel.

This is a fun harmonica. It is very easy to play vibrato or make different sounds by pulling the end of the pipe out a little to allow for different sounds. Cupping on either end allows for easy sound modulation. Wonderful tone and excellent construction. Comes with a drawstring bag. It would be nice to also have a hard cover.

Beautiful, rich sound and easy enough for even beginners to sound like pros. I couldn't be happier with this choice! :)
