The handle's wood was beautiful and finished well. Balance might have been better in a very large hand, but not in mine. The biggest problem, and the reason I returned it, was the shaft was set into the handle improperly, so that it exited the handle at a slight angle. Rolling it on a table, it "wobbled" dramatically and in my hand, it only felt right when rotated to one specific position.

Be aware also that although the photo shows 5 batons, only one is included at the price specified. This was not suprising to me, so it's not a complaint. Just thought I'd mention it in case a reader might not realize this.

Well-made baton and very sturdy. Shipping was very prompt as well. I took one star off because it was not balanced very well, and that is an important quality in conducting batons.

This baton was in great shape and although a little shorter than I had thought it would be but it has turned out great!

This product is excellent. It's durable, it's sturdy, it's the perfect size and IT CAME EARLY. I am very pleased to have found such a great product online for only $8. Hardwood Conductor's Baton

This just a complaint to amazon.com, not to you, that ConsumerSearch product-review editors get "paid" to reviews electronics, appliances and services (like the ones you'd find at Consumer Reports or CNET) with consumer reviews (like those at Amazon.com and Epinions) and we don't. Therefor amazon should offer us a least one free shipping service for each or a couple of products feedback, no free labor, just like yourself, you are not working for free, you get paid for your work.
